Seven tourist routes in Anhui celebrate CPC’s centenary

China on Monday unveiled 100 tourist routes to help people know more about the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC), including seven ones in East China’s Anhui province.

Among the seven routes, five focus on the CPC’s struggles over the revolutionary years, one features the country’s sci-tech progress and the remaining one impresses tourists with the country’s achievements in poverty alleviation and rural vitalization.

The seven routes cover more than 30 scenic spots around the province, such as Shuangduiji Martyrs' Cemetery in Suixi county, the Military Headquarters of the New Fourth Army in Jingxian county, the Hefei Memorial of the Crossing-Yangtze-River Battle, the Memorial of All-Round Contract System in Xiaogang village and the Anhui Innovation Center in Hefei.

The routes were co-selected by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, and the National Development and Reform Commission, as part of the efforts to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
