The "strawberry town" officially opens in January this year. Covering 3.96 square kilometers, it is divided into several areas with different functions including planting, shopping, and displaying. There are also construction plans for buildings such as a e-commerce center, a brand operation center, and a strawberry processing factory.

Strawberry cultivation in Changfeng County can be dated back to around 1900. By the early 1980s, strawberry planting had already become the pillar of the local agriculture. At present, the total area of strawberry fields in the entire county has reached 14,000 hectares, and there are more than 80,000 growers as well as up to 175,000 people working in the strawberry industry here.

The achievements it made in strawberry-related industries have won the Changfeng a multitude of honorary titles such as the "Strawberry Capital of China", "No.1 County of Strawberries in Facilities", and "National Geographical Indication". The fruit is not only generating huge revenue but also gaining great popularity for the county.
