CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee to kick off annual session

The 5th Session of the 12th Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is set to open in Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui province, on January 16.

The decision was made at the 21st Session of the Standing Committee of the 12th Anhui Provincial Committee of the CPPCC on Wednesday.

The agenda will include hearing and deliberating the work report of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and a report about how proposals put forward at the last session have been handled by the standing committee.

Members of the CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee will also be present at the 5th Session of the 13th Anhui Provincial People’s Congress to hear and discuss the work report of the provincial government and work reports of the Standing Committee of the 13th Anhui Provincial People’s Congress, the Anhui Provincial High People’s Court and the Anhui Provincial People’s Procuratorate.
