The 5th Session of the 13th Anhui Provincial People's Congress is set to open on January 17, 2022 in Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui province. The decision was made at the 31st Session of the Standing committee of the 13th Anhui Provincial People’s Congress on Wednesday. The agenda of the 5th Session of the 13th Anhui Provincial People's Congress will include deliberating on the provincial government work report, examining a report on the implementation of the annual plan on economic and social development in 2021 and a draft plan on economic and social development in 2022, and examining a report on the implementation of the local budgets in 2021 and the draft budgets in 2022. Deputies will also hear and review work reports of the Standing Committee of 13th Anhui Provincial People’s Congress, the Anhui Provincial High People’s Court and the Anhui Provincial People’s Procuratorate. Elections will be held during the session.
