Anhui's Ten Landmarks Unveiled

Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Anhui province unveiled ten landmark buildings for the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-2010) period on Thursday.

According to votes casted by experts as well as the public, ten buildings in some of the province's prefecture-level cities were selected as landmarks.

 They are Grand Theater of Hefei, Linjiang Tower in Wuhu, Huizhou Cultural Museum in Huangshan, Olympic Sports Center in Hefei, Suzhou Museum, Museum for Historical Sources of the New Fourth Army in Xuancheng, Tongling's New Railway Station, Huangmei Opera Center of Anqing, Lu'an Municipal Administration Center and Municipal Administration Park in Ma'anshan, the department said.
