Lushan Mountain:  Located in the northern part of Jiangxi province, Mt. Lushan faces Yangtze River to the north and borders Poyang Lake (the largest fresh water lake in China) on the east. The mountain consists of 99 peaks, of which, the major Peak Dahanyang rises 1474 meters (914.1 miles) above the sea level. With the superb scenery displayed by mountains shadowing the water, which in turn mirrors the mountains, Mt. Lushan is famous as a best summer resort.

Taishan Mountain:  Mt Taishan, as a famous Taoist mountain and one of the five holiest mountains in China, has been the object of imperial pilgrimage for thousands years, which made it superior over any other mountains within China. According to historical records, there had been 72 emperors offering imperial sacrifices here. As a source of inspiration to artists and scholars, the mountain has inherited thousands of cultural relics. The sacred mountain is in certain aspect a symbol of Chinese civilizations and beliefs. In 1987, it was included as a World Natural and Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

Huangshan Mountain:  Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) is the name of the 72 peaks range lying in the south of Anhui province and have been designated as a national park and declared a World Natural and Cultural Heritage area by UNESCO.Huangshan is famous for its spectacular rocky peaks, oddly shaped pines, crystal-clear mountain springs and sea of clouds with the highest peak - Lotus Flower Peak (Lianhua Feng) at 1864m, followed by Bright Summit Peak (Guangming Ding) and Celestial Peak (Tiandu Feng). 

Huangguoshu Waterfalls:  A national scenic spot, the falls are on the Baishui River, 15 kilometres From the Zhenning county seat, 137 kilometres from Guiyang, and 45 kilometres from Anshun. The waterfalls, 74 metres high and 81 metres wide, are the biggest of their kind in China and also one of the world's most magnificent. The water billows down into the Xiniu (Rhinoceros) Pool, sending up great spray and creating rainbows.

Jiuzhaigou Ravine:  Jiuzhaigou is located in the north of Sichuan Province and is known far and wide as "a fairyland. With majestic and unrivalled emerald lakes, layered waterfalls, colourful forests, snow peaks and Tibetan folk villages, all blending in harmony with each other - it is nature's jewel set into the mountains. It is a home of densely growing conifers and broadleaf trees, and of rare and endangered animal species such as the giant panda, golden monkey, and white-lip deer.

 

 

 

 

Guilin:  Situated in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guilin has always been famous for its scenery and culture. It has an area of 4,194 square kilometers and a population of 1.25 million. Guilin is a karst basin surrounded by mountains. The Li River flows through Guilin from north to south.
