Well-known companies having attended the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be invited to the World Manufacturing Convention (WMC), slated to be held in Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui province, from Nov. 19 to 22, local government said at a press briefing on Monday. The WMC will work together with Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center, a trading hub in Shanghai that extends the services of the CIIE for exhibitors to display and sell their products through the year, to showcase selective imports.
An exhibition area will be devoted to imported goods at the event, which will offer local people opportunities to buy global commodities. Up to 198 varieties of goods from 26 countries and regions will be showcased, including cereal from Denmark, Japanese rice, Italian honey, Russian vodka as well as skin-care products and cosmetics from Australia, France, America and Italy.
