HEFEI, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese
automaker Chery Holdings Co., Ltd. reported year-on-year vehicles export
growth of 18.7 percent in 2020, with overseas sales of vehicles hitting
114,000 units. Chery sold a total of 730,000 vehicles in 2020, slightly lower than the 745,000 units in 2019. As the COVID-19 epidemic waned in the country, Chery saw month-on-month sales growth for 10 months in a row from March. So
far, Chery has set up six major R&D bases, 10 overseas plants and
over 1,500 overseas dealers and service outlets across the globe. Its
overseas vehicles production capacity has reached 200,000 units per
year. Chery's major products include passenger cars, minivans and SUVs.
