China's CPI up 0.2 pct in December

BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 0.2 percent year on year in December, up from a 0.5-percent decrease in November, the National Bureau of Statistics said Monday.
