A tourism promotion event featuring Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province, was held in Shanghai on Tuesday.
The Hefei Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism promoted popular destinations, such as Chaohu Lake, the Three Kingdoms Ruins Park, Jingkongque Hot Spring, and Sangua Commune, in Shanghai.
Chaohu folk songs and Luju Opera, recognized as the city’s intangible cultural heritage, were staged as well.
Participants in the event were attracted by the city’s rich cultural heritage, fantastic natural scenery and beautiful urban landscape.
The bureau also signed cooperation agreements with Shanghai.
The event will boost cooperation between Hefei and Shanghai in cultural and tourism fields, according to the bureau.
