Reporters with anhuinews.com took aerial photos of cole flowers at the Aili Scenic Area in Wuhu, East China’s Anhui province on March 25, 2019, as a monthlong media tour organized by provincial authorities to promote spring tourism resources got underway.
As Aili is homophonic to “ai ni”, which means “love you” , cole flowers in different flowering period shape 爱, the Chinese character of “love”. Such romantic views attract a lot of tourists.
Located in the southmost of Nanling county, Aili village enjoys geographic advantages. It is 30 kilometers from the county and 77 kilometers from the city of Wuhu. In addition, it is 57 kilometers away from Jiuhua Mountain, one of the four leading Buddhist mountains in China.
The National Highway 318, which leads to well-known destinations: Huangshan Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Taiping Lake, passes through the village.
Located at a low range of Jiuhua Mountain, Aili boasts picturesque scenery with rolling hills, numerous ravine and clear rivers.
In 2015, Aili was named a model village by the country’s top tourism regulator in recognition of its efforts to boost ecological tourism.
