In order to enhance the investment promotion and talents inflow and strengthen support for major projects, Anhui Development and Reform Commission has established a pool of cultural and tourism projects in the southern part of Anhui province, according to the commission on Wednesday. The pool collected 102 culture and tourism projects from seven cities in Southern Anhui Demonstration Area, with an investment of nearly 105.18 billion yuan (almost $ 16.53 billion ). Building an ecological, international and world-class leisure and tourism resort is the development target of the demonstration zone. The projects cover leisure tourism, health tourism, rural tourism, transportation tourism, digital creative tourism, and other travelling formats. An official from commission said the commission will actively cooperate with all cities in the demonstration area to attract more investment by means of platform investment attraction, business attraction and fund investment attraction. It will also continuously promote and attract the inflow of people, capital, information and technology from all over the world to the demonstration zone to develop it into a world-class leisure and tourism resort.
