Tunnel of ‘most beautiful expressway’ completed

The right line of Fengchijian tunnel of Huangshan Mountain-Qiandao Lake expressway has been completed on Dec 10. The success of its completion has laid a solid foundation for the fully opening of the expressway in 2022.

The expressway will boost the integrated development of transport and tourism in the Yangzte River Delta region, in which it starts from the Huihang freeway and ends at Chun’an section of Qianhuang expressway.

Located in Shexian county, Anhui province, Fengchijian is the longest tunnel in the section one project of the expressway. Fengchijian right line is 9.258 kilometers long.

All construction and production work on the premise of environmental protection and actively explore a new model of harmonious and unified developmental protection and construction and production, according to the environmental protection concept as priority rules, a project leader said.
