The Department of Culture and Tourism of Anhui Province and the Anhui Meteorological Administration have recently released a list of ten summer resorts in the eastern Chinese province, Hefei Daily reported on Thursday. The destinations were selected from 53 candidates around the province based on 17 criteria including weather conditions, ecological environment and market regulation. The selection went through a series of procedures like assessment by experts, on-site checks, comprehensive reviews and public scrutiny. Here are the ten destinations to escape summer heat: Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area Shiguan township, Yuexi county Feicuigu Scenic Area in Huangshan city Taiyang township, Huoshan county Guniujiang Scenic Area in Shitai county Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area in Xiuning county Jishan Mountain in Guangde city Langya Mountain Scenic Area in Chuzhou city Marenqifeng Scenic Area in Wuhu city Baochan Mountain Scenic Area in Hanshan county
