Experience Anhui's spring at Taohuatan Lake

Taohuatan Lake, literally "Peach Blossom Pool", is located by Taohua Town of Anhui's Jing County. It is an ancient residential area in southern Anhui with a long history, known to the world for a famous poem of the great Chinese poet Li Bai.

There are now over 700 traditional old buildings in Taohua Town, most of which were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912 AD). These buildings belong to the typical "Hui" architectural style, which are characterized by white walls, black roof tiles, high ridges and overhanging eaves. Along with the surrounding environment, they constitute a tranquil and picturesque lake view that attracts numerous tourists every year.
