The first Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo, co-hosted by Shanghai and Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces, kicked off in Shanghai on Thursday.
The four-day expo attracted 330 enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta region, including 63 from Anhui province.
The province's state-run cultural enterprises, local cultural enterprises among the nation’s top 30, outstanding prefecture-level cultural enterprises and cultural industry hubs attended the expo to present new growth drivers for the cultural industry.
Jointly launched by the Publicity Department of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, the expo aims to explore new development models of the cultural industry, strengthen cooperation among cities in the region and enhance its cultural soft power.
The 20,000-square-meter exhibition area at the Shanghai Exhibition Center showcased the region’s film and TV making, digital media, audio and visual Internet, animation and games, art dealing as well as entertainment shows.
