Anhui's CPI Growth Slower than Nat'l Average in H1

Anhui's consumer price index (CPI), the main gauge of inflation, rose 1.7 percent year on year in the first half of 2018 (H1), compared to the national average of 2 percent during the same period, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Tuesday.

The province was ranked 22nd along with Hubei and Hunan provinces in terms of the CPI growth rate.

Among six Central China provinces, Anhui’s CPI growth was 0.4 percentage points higher than Shanxi's, while 0.7 and 0.4 percentage points lower than Henan's and Jiangxi's respectively, the NBS data showed.
