Travel experts from across the country gathered in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province last Saturday as the 5th China Travel Brand Festival kicked off here.
Sponsored by Anhui Provincial Tourism Association, Anhui New Media Group and another two organizations, the event is the province’s latest move to implement the “Internet Plus Tourism” initiative and promote local travel brands.
At the opening ceremony, experts and industry insiders from and beyond the province brainstormed on opportunities and challenges of tourism branding.
Moreover, a couple of lists were unveiled, including Anhui’s top 10 all-for-one tourist destinations, Anhui’s top 10 travel companies and China’s top 10 5A-rated attractions.
Anhui’s top 10 all-for-one tourist destinations: Yixian county, Jingxian county, Nanling county, Shitai county, Hanshan county, Lujiang county, Yuexi county, Huoshan county, Lingbi county and Yingshang county.
China’s top 10 5A-rated attractions: Beijing Olympic Forest Park, Anhui’s Huangshan Mountain, Luofu Mountain in Guangdong province, the Qiao’s Family Compound in Shanxi province, Hainan’s Wuzhizhou Island, Jinsi Grand Canyon in Shaanxi province, Wuzhen in Zhejiang province, Wuyi mountain in Fujian province, Wudalianchi in Heilongjiang province and Guizhou’s Huangguoshu Waterfall.
