　　I. Documents required to submit:

　　1. Valid passport and visa (copy included);

　　2. Registration receipt of lodging from hotel or local police station (copy included);

　　3. Two recently taken 2-inch full-face color photograph (the background should be white);

　　4. The permanent household register or “Permanent Resident Permit” of the patron (copy included);

　　5. Notarized certification of family relationship (copy included);

　　The direct relatives refer to parents (parents of spouse), grandparents (grandparents of spouse), adult children and their spouse, adult grandchildren and their spouse. If the certification is produced by foreign organizations, it needs to be attested by Chinese oversea consulates.

　　6. Notarization of the applicant having no direct relatives overseas (copy included); If the certification is produced by foreign organizations, it needs to be attested by Chinese oversea consulates.

　　7. Notarization of the source of income of the applicant or the financial affidavit of the patron (copy included); If the certification is produced by foreign organizations, it needs to be attested by Chinese oversea consulates.

　　8. Notarized lease or property right of housing of the applicant or the patron (copy included);

　　 9. Completed “Visa or Residence Permit Application Form”.
