The medals of the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were unveiled on Tuesday, 100 days ahead of the opening of the sports event. The medals, named “Tong Xin”, were inspired by Chinese jade ornaments dating back 5,000-odd years. One of them was unearthed from the Lingjiatan archaeological site in Hanshan county, East China’s Anhui province.
