Sports authorities in the Yangtze River Delta region released a series of high-quality programs featuring the integration of sport and tourism, including 12 ones in east China’s Anhui province. The programs consist of 15 destinations, 13 routes, 14 events and 6 camps for drivers, the authorities said at a recent meeting. Jointly launched by the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Sport, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Sport, the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Sport, the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Sport and Shanghai University of Sport, the selection of the programs aimed to strengthen cooperation in the sports industry among the municipality and provinces, and promote the integration of sport and tourism in the region. Anhui saw 12 programs make the cut, including Hongyang Mountain Motorsports Park in Wuhu, a tourist route around Taiping Lake in Huangshan, Chizhou Internationa Marathon and Jushi Mountain Self-driving Campsite in Anqing. As one of the fastest-growing regions in China, the Yangtze River Delta consists of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui.
