Anhui allocates 915.53 million yuan to maintain roads

The reporter learned from the Department of Finance of Anhui Province on June 29 that in order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of ordinary roads and highway in our province and improve the maintenance quality, the Provincial Department of Finance recently allocated the subsidy fund for 2022 after government-financed class II highway cancelling tolls, with an amount of 915.53 million yuan (about 136.69 million U.S. dollars). 

The subsidy fund is used for the municipal governments of Anhui to continue to do a good job in maintaining the national, provincial highway, and rural roads.

In the next step, the Department of Finance of Anhui will cooperate with the Provincial Department of Transportation to urge the municipal financial and transportation departments in Anhui to strictly follow the relevant requirements for the implementation of budget performance management, do a good job in the fund management, performance monitoring and evaluation, to further improve the traffic conditions of national, provincial highway and rural roads in Anhui.
