Feasibility report of Hefei S1 Metro Line project approved

The Hefei Development and Reform Commission approved the Feasibility Research Report of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport S1 Metro Line Project, laying the important foundations for the project to start as soon as possible, according to the commission.

The metro line is totally 47.5 kilometers long with 14 stations and it starts from Shushan Industrial Park in Shouxian County, passes Xinqiao Road, Hehuai Road, Hefei West Railway Station, and ends at the Wulidun Station.

The project will not only speed up the development of urban commuter transportation network in Hefei, but also complete the comprehensive transportation system of Xinqiao Airport, and boost the coordination and capacity of the comprehensive transportation hub.
