In recent years, authorities in Fanchang district of Wuhu city have improved the construction of rural highway infrastructure to build a regional highway network which catalyzes communication and connects other areas. Up to now, the total length of village roads and county highways in the district has reached nearly 700 kilometers, with a highway density of 150 kilometers per 100 square kilometers. All of the towns and administrative villages have been connected by bus. Convenient transportation has injected lasting impetus to the development of rural tourism and rural vitalization.
