Purple sea of flowers greet visitors

On June 20, visitors enjoy themselves in a sea of verbena flowers in Liuzi Cultural Park in Baishan township, Suixi county, Anhui province.

Nearly 133 hectares of lavender and verbena are blooming in the park. The “Purple sea of flowers” have attracted many visitors. In recent years, by exploiting the historical and cultural site of Liuzi Canal and rural scenery, the town has been propelling development of rural tourism projects and encouraging local farmers to work and start businesses in scenic spots to facilitate rural revitalization.
