On February 28th, 2024 Chinese New Year Reception for Foreign Missions and Agencies in Shanghai, "Beautiful Anhui Engages with the World", was held in Shanghai. A sincere invitation was extended to everyone to visit Anhui and experience the unique charm of its culture and local customs.

Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism organized a performance rich in Anhui's local culture and charm. The exciting array of performances included Huangmei Opera, Anhui Opera, flower drum lantern dance, traditional Chinese music, and acrobatics, creating an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere with non-stop climaxes. Guests from various backgrounds welcomed the Spring Festival and exchanged friendly conversations amidst songs and laughter. 

Through cultural exchanges and interactions, mutual understanding between different countries was enhanced, distances were bridged, and the exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations were deepened. 

More than 200 Chinese and foreign guests attended the meeting, including heads of consular institutions from 43 countries in Shanghai, representatives from over 10 foreign local governments and business associations in Shanghai, and foreign media representatives.
