The reporter learned from a press conference held in Hefei on March 14 that the city recently revised and issued "Several Policies of Hefei Municipal Government to Promote Economic Development" to further optimize the environment, support the growth of key industries, and promote Hefei's high-quality economic development. This policy revision marks the sixth time Hefei has improved its industrial policies. The policy includes six areas and 20 specific measures, which build on the previous round of policies that supported technological innovation, expanded investment and financing, nurtured business entities, and optimized the business environment. The new policy adds a new focus area for stimulating consumption and circulation. This area includes four specific measures: expanding consumer demand, improving the modern distribution system, supporting enterprise market expansion, and enhancing the appeal of foreign investment. In addition to these measures, the policy has also added support for logistics development, "business building economy," high-end service industry, energy conservation and carbon reduction. The policy aims to minimize the need for application and simplify the process, making it easier for enterprises to access support. The policy also stipulates the necessity to clarify the standards, targets, and conditions for those policy measures that cannot be accessed automatically. According to reports, in 2022, Hefei City allocated a total of 15.046 billion yuan (about 2.18 billion U.S. dollars) in industrial policy funds, benefiting more than 30,000 enterprises.
