Recently, reporters learned from Hefei Customs that in April this year, Anhui Province exported 3.01 billion yuan worth of "New Trio" products (photovoltaic products, lithium-ion batteries, and electric vehicles), accounting for 6.8% of the province's total export value for the same period.

In recent years, Anhui automobile companies have seized the growth opportunities in the new energy vehicle industry, relying on the local industrial and supply chains to continuously accelerate the pace of electric vehicle exports, with a promising market outlook. Among the export increases of "New Trio" products, the export of electric vehicles maintained significant growth. In April, Anhui's exports of electric vehicles amounted to 630 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 123.7%.

From the perspective of trade partners, the export of Anhui's "New Trio" products has noticeably shifted towards the Asian market, with strong expansion into emerging markets. In April, Anhui's exports of "New Trio" to Asian countries amounted to 870 million yuan, an increase of 80.8%; exports to Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries and regions reached 930 million yuan, growing by 24.8%; exports to other RCEP member countries reached 440 million yuan, up by 38.5%. Anhui's foreign trade network is gradually extending from traditional markets such as Europe, the United States, and Japan to emerging markets in BRI countries and other RCEP member countries. Anhui's efforts to explore and consolidate emerging markets have shown stronger performance and more significant results.
