Located in Hefei Zhongguancun Co-innovation Industrial Park, Hefei Seektop Automobile Technology Co., Ltd, founded in 2022, focuses on the design and production of low-speed intelligent wire-controlled chassis. Its innovation team is dedicated to building a smart driving business centred on the wire-controlled chassis. At present, the company has reached a number of project co-operation in the field of low-speed unmanned vehicles with JAC, BAIC and other companies. Among them, the unmanned logistics vehicle in cooperation with JAC is entering the testing stage. 
What is a wire-controlled chassis? "A wire-controlled chassis uses electrical signals to control an actuator to control the car." Meng Qi, the head of the company, introduced that the traditional way of operation is to control the car through the mechanical mechanism when the driver presses the brake, steps on the accelerator, shifts gears and turns the steering wheel, while the wire-controlled technology transfers the information with electrical signals, which is faster in response, more accurate and more energy-efficient. In addition, the wire-controlled chassis also has a high degree of integration, compact structure and lighter weight, etc., which can improve the endurance of new energy vehicles, so the wire-controlled chassis is the way to achieve high-level autonomous driving. "This chassis allows for three modes of manoeuvring. In addition to manual and remote control operation, it can also achieve autonomous driving." The company's technical director, Ding Huiming, explains, "The fixed chassis and customizable car shell make it easy to commercialise in vehicles with loads, enclosed and semi-enclosed scenarios. In the future, this will be a huge market." 
In 2022, the sales scale of China's low-speed unmanned vehicle industry was about 5.2 billion yuan, and the sales quantity of various types of low-speed unmanned vehicle products was about 20,000 units. From an overall perspective, China's low-speed unmanned driving industry is still in the early development stage. However, with the development of technology, the continuous improvement of policies and the maturity of the industrial chain, China's low-speed autonomous driving industry may soon enter a rapid development stage. According to the forecast, in 2025, the scale of China's low-speed unmanned driving industry is expected to exceed 30 billion yuan. Meng Qi describes, "The wire-controlled chassis is the cornerstone in all three phases of advanced assisted driving, autonomous driving and unmanned driving." The industry veteran who is a vehicle engineering major from Hefei University of Technology, told reporters that the company team's own research experience is relatively rich, and has been aimed at relatively mature field of low-speed commercialisation scenarios. The company has independently developed M2, M3 and M5 series products, which can be freely combined with hardware and software according to different scenarios, such as industrial parks, open roads, agriculture, teaching and research. 
Hefei Zhongguancun Co-innovation Industrial Park has gathered more than 70 enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and the government of Baohe District and the park have also paved the way for the enterprises to become bigger and stronger. Meng Qi cited an example, "A month ago, Baohe District held the 2023 project and capital matchmaking roadshow, many investment organisations got to know and understand Seektop, and this event won us a total intended investment of more than 30 million yuan." "As a newly established enterprise, we currently need to solidify our foundational technology, and continue to build our industry reputation to support the development of the intelligent driving industry."
