(JAC hereafter) originally called Hefei Jianghuai Automobile Factory came into existence in 1964, was founded on September 30, 1999. Now JAC has more than 9000 employees with total asset of RMB 6.1 billion, covering an area of nearly 4.05 million square meters. JAC was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2001. Since its launching to market in April, 2005 The heavy-duty truck Gallop increases by 260% by relying on its own remarkable value year by year, the increase rate tops the same products, and was awarded by many authoritative medias as "The Most Oil-save Heavy-duty Truck", "The Most Potential Heavy-duty Truck", "The Year's Model Of The Commercial Vehicle" and so on; Refine MPV was launched into market in 2002 and became the leader of China's independent MPV producer. From 2003 to 2008, it has consecutively won "Year's MPV" and "The Best Official Car" from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, it was gained "The Best MPV" and "The Best MPV for Government" etc. Rein was launched into market in 2006 and was appointed as the only car for the police to get on Long March again and was won "Year's SUV" in the same year. In 2007, it is gained "The Best SUV" . Launched into market in November of 2007，JAC C-class sedan was awarded the “Self Brand Medium Car of The Year 2007”, “The Public Favorite Self Brand Sedan” and “The Most Attractive Car in 2008”. In November 2008, JAC unveils of its A-class sedans Tojoy and Tojoy-RS is around the world. JAC has been awarded as "The National Advanced Enterprise of Quality and Efficiency" by Quality and Management Association of China, and certified as Modern Management Enterprise by the Association of Machinery Industry of China.
