2nd Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage New Year Festival Gala held in Hefei

Jointly sponsored by China Cultural Industry Development Research Center, Chinese Academy of Governance Film and Video Center, China Academy of Management Science Research Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection, Anhui Research Society for Intangible Cultural Heritage, and Anhui Radio and TV Station, the 2nd Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage New Year Festival Gala was impressively staged in Anhui Grand Theatre on the evening of January 10.

The evening gala is divided into three chapters: a beautiful new life, a new inheritance of ingenuity and a new era of dream building.

Suzhou Pingtan, Sichuan Qingyin, Flower-Drum Lantern, Kunqu Opera, Huangmei Opera, and other performances staged one after another, the atmosphere in the theater was warm and lively.

No matter it is the show of the nationally well-known Huizhou Inkstick, Xuan Paper, Shexian Ink-slab, and Xuan Writing Brush, or the ingenious Suzhou Embroidery, Guangfu Walnut Carvings, Yixing Zisha Ceramics, Regong Arts or other intangible cultural heritage items, whenever an intangible cultural heritage artwork or an inheritor of the artwork appears on the stage, the audience greets them with warm applause.
