Many tourist attractions in East China’s Anhui province announced they will open to all medical workers nationwide for free this year after they resume business. The move aims to salute the doctors and nurses at the frontline of the COVID-19 epidemic fight. In the southern city of Huangshan, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, all scenic spots including the world-renowned Huangshan Mountain, Hongcun and Xidi villages and Taiping Lake will offer free admission to the country’s doctors and nurses this year. Meanwhile, the city will offer free performances of Huiyun, a large singing and dancing show featuring Huangshan, to medical workers. Many scenic areas in Hefei, capital of the province, including Sanhe ancient town, Yinping Mountain, Ziwei Cave and Hefei Intangible Cultural Heritage Park, will also waive entrance fees to medical workers when they resume business after the epidemic.
