38 Scenic Areas in Anhui Cut Ticket Prices

38 4A-rated scenic areas in East China’s Anhui province cut ticket prices before the National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7, according to the province’s top economic regulator.

Ticket prices in 13 tourist attractions in Lu’an fell, including Baimajian Scenic Area (from 95 yuan to 80 yuan), Wanxi Great Rift Valley (from 70 yuan to 60 yuan), Foziling Reservoir (from 44 yuan to 40 yuan), said the Anhui Development and Reform Commission.

Langya Mountain in Chuzhou brought down its ticket price to 75 yuan. Eight scenic areas in Chizhou, including the Jiuhua Mountain, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, cut ticket prices as well.

In Anqing, six attractions’ admission prices dropped, including Dabie Mountains and Mingtang Mountain. The ticket price of Fushan Mountain in Tongling went down to 80 yuan from 120 yuan.

The Guniujiang scenic area lowered its ticket price from 70 yuan to 63 yuan.

Preliminary estimates showed the price cut will benefit 3.5 million tourists on a yearly basis.
