For the opening to traffic in 2022, the expressway project from Huangshan in east China’s Anhui province to Qiandao Lake in east China’s Zhejiang province has been accelerated.

The expressway is part of the expressway network implemented by the Anhui Provincial Government and also an important section for the integration of Anhui into the Yangtze River Delta area. Meanwhile, known as the “the most splendid expressway”, it connects Huangshan and Qiandao Lake scenic area and will link “the most beautiful golden tourism route between Anhui province and Zhejiang province”.

As one of the first Public-Private-Partnership(PPP) pilot projects in Anhui’s expressway construction, the Anhui- section expressway adopts the four-lane expressway standard. And the whole section is 25.54 kilometers long with a 25.5 meter wide roadbed, covering three stack interchanges, one service center, two ramp tollbooths, thirteen tunnels and thirty-five bridges.
