Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport to handle more flights

Starting July 28, new flights will be launched from Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport in East China’s Anhui province to Chengdu in Southwest China’s Sichuan province and Chongqing municipality in Southwest China, according to Anhui Daily.

In addition, China Eastern Airlines will operate three flights on a daily basis from the airport to Xi’an in Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, Kunming in Southwest China’s Yunnan province, and Changchun in Northeast China’s Jilin province, respectively, starting July 30.

Since it opened on April 30, the airport has launched flights to cities including Beijing, Foshan and Guangzhou in South China’s Guangdong province, Xi’an, Changchun and Chongqing. Air routes will also link Wuhu and Xuanzhou with Shenzhen in South China’s Guangdong province and Tianjin in North China in the near future.
