On May 4th, the reporter learned from Hefei Metro Group that from April 28th to May 3rd, the Hefei Metro safely transported 7.7434 million passengers, with a daily average passenger volume of 1.2906 million people, an increase of 211.30% compared to 2022 and 39.02% compared to the same period in 2021. Among them, Line 1 carried 2.023 million passengers, Line 2 carried 1.9974 million passengers, Line 3 carried 1.7727 million passengers, Line 4 carried 1.0606 million passengers, and Line 5 carried 0.8897 million passengers. 
The travel demand during the five-day Labor Day holiday significantly increased. On April 28th, the passenger flow of Hefei Metro set multiple records, with a single-day passenger volume of 1.4894 million people, breaking the historical record of the highest passenger flow; at the same time, Lines 4 and 5 successively broke the new highest historical passenger volume record, with line 3’s passenger volume ranking second in history and first in 2023. In addition, on May 1st, the passenger volume of Line 1 reached a new high since 2023, with 0.3269 million passengers. On May 3rd, the daily entry of passengers to Hefei South Station and Hefei Railway Station exceeded 85,000 people for the first time, with a total of 89.2 thousands and 86.7 thousands people respectively, both setting new historical records. From April 28th to May 3rd, the top six stations in terms of daily entrance passenger flow on the rail network were: Hefei South Station (64,800 people), Hefei Railway Station (52,500 people), Sanli'an Station (32,300 people), Sipailou Station (28,600 people), Dadongmen Station (28,200 people), and Sanshibu Station (15,300 people).
