As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching, according to the deployment of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Anhui Provincial Administration for Market Regulation will carry out a two-month centralized rectification campaign in the whole province, to deal with problems such as over-packaging of commodities, whopping price moon cakes, crab cards and crab coupons since August 15. This campaign focuses on spot checks on the implementation of standards for moon cake production and sales enterprises and the food safety of moon cakes on sale; intensified inspections on shopping malls, supermarkets, catering units, free markets of agricultural products, brand franchise stores and online trading platforms; for over-packaged commodities found through offline inspection and spot check, carry out online transaction monitoring, implement an online list of prohibited and restricted sales of over-packaged goods, and urge e-commerce platforms to bear the responsibility; strengthen the monitoring of advertisements for festive commodities, and investigate and punish illegal advertisements that promote extravagance and money worship in accordance with the law; keep an eye on the overpriced moon cakes, unblock the reporting channels, and fully tap various online and offline clues. The relevant person in charge of the Anhui Provincial Administration for Market Regulation said that a group of typical cases will be exposed around the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day. At the same time, it will guide festival commodities, festival consumption, and festival culture to return to their original nature.
