Anhui's new transportation network plan released

Anhui province will build 24 railways and 36 exits of interprovincial expressways by 2035 to promote the transportation connection with Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, according to an official document.

Anhui will focus on constructing a comprehensive three-dimension transportation network featuring 3 axis, 4 corridors and 5 access in order to highly improve the connection among those areas, according to the Plan on Comprehensive Three-Dimensional Transportation Network in Anhui Province.

There will be 18 railways, 28 expressway exits and 8 shipping channels between Anhui and Jiangsu.

For Anhui and Zhejiang, 6 railways, 8 exits of interprovincial expressways and 1 shipping channel will be built.
