The per capita disposable income of residents in China’s Anhui province reached 23,361 yuan ($3,656) in the first three quarters of 2021, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.6 percent, statistics showed. The increase, 1.2 percentage points higher than the national average, brought the province to the 4th place in the country, up three notches from the same period a year ago. In terms of per capita disposable income, the province ranked 12th in the country and 1st in the Central China region. Urban residents’ disposable income per capita rose 10.9 percent to 32,603 yuan, 1.4 percentage points higher than the national average. Rural residents’ disposable income per capita stood at 13,988 yuan, or 262 yuan more than the national average, up 11.7 percent year on year.
