Hefei operates four China- Europe return cargo trains in 24 hours

A freight train, carrying low-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene, left Neuss, Germany on August 20 for Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui province.

This was the 50th China- Europe return cargo train to Hefei since January. It was also the fourth of its kind in the past 24 hours, following three cargo train services from Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan to Hefei via Khorgas in China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, each with 100 TEUs of cotton yarn weighing more than 1,000 tons on board.

Since the beginning of 2021, Hefei has operated a total of 375 China-Europe freight trains, including 50 return trains from Europe and 25 ones from Central Asia.
