Chinese speech intelligence company iFLYTEK and the state-owned carmaker JAC Motors signed a strategic partnership agreement in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province, on June 9, intending to work together to promote the digital and intelligent transition of the province’s automobile industry.

Under the agreement, the two sides, both based in Hefei, will cooperate in fields including intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, intelligent sales service and IoV (Internet of Vehicles) solutions.

The move came only two weeks after iFLYTEK agreed to cement strategic cooperation with Chery Automobile, signifying the speech intelligence firm quickened its expansion into autonomous driving.
