List of Top 10 Beautiful Campus Bookstores in Anhui released

Recently, Anhui Provincial Press and Publication Bureau and the Department of Education of Anhui jointly announced the list of “Top 10 Beautiful Campus Bookstores in Anhui”.

Campus bookstores are important cultural facilities and carriers of civilization in universities. In recent years, a number of campus bookstores with distinctive characteristics and unified social and economic benefits have emerged in the province.

In order to strengthen entities of publicity, ideology, and culture, and to contribute to the establishment of “scholarly campuses”, the Anhui Provincial Press and Publication Bureau and the Department of Education of Anhui required that "one campus with one bookstore" goal should be realized before the end of 2022, and that universities should support the sustainable development of bookstores by providing favorable conditions for them to cut the operation cost, such as free venues as well as water and electricity fee remission.
