Hundreds of black-headed gulls "dance" above the lake surface Recently, nearly a thousand black-headed gulls have been playing and feeding at the shore of Chao Lake in Yandian Township, Feixi County, Anhui province. In recent years, the local government of Chao Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China, has taken comprehensive measures to protect the environment. Through the construction of wetland parks, the aquatic environment of the lake has been further improved, providing many birds with an ideal habitat.
