Huangshan City is actively promoting the deep integration of "Artificial Intelligence + Culture and Tourism," with a focus on the application of AI technology and implementing multiple measures to inject new vitality into the cultural and tourism industry.

Leveraging competitions as a platform, the city is building an innovation ecosystem for "AI + Culture and Tourism." Huangshan successfully secured and hosted the 2025 National General Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition's "Artificial Intelligence + Cultural Tourism" Specialized Track, attracting 107 enterprises from across the country to participate. The competition gathered 24 "AI + Culture and Tourism" application scenarios and selected 10 outstanding projects, one of which won the third prize in the national finals. During the event, Huangshan invited over 20 experts and entrepreneurs from cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hefei for event visits. In 2025, the city recorded 8 projects in the provincial "attracting investment and talent" comprehensive service platform, with a total investment of 1.55 billion yuan, exceeding the provincial "attracting investment and talent" target.

Huangshan city has completed and put into operation the Huangshan "Dawei" Intelligent Computing Center, with a computing capacity of 500 Petaflops. The center operates at an overall efficiency of over 60% and has served more than 10 institutions and enterprises, providing a solid foundation for the development of the artificial intelligence industry. A dedicated task force has been established for the security assessment and filing of large AI models, creating a comprehensive service system covering "assessment — rectification — filing." The "Huangshan Cultural Tourism Large Model" has becoming the province's first approved vertical large model in the cultural tourism sector.

Huangshan city focuses on the practical needs of scenic areas and, at the Digital Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Development Conference, unveiled six AI-enabled scenarios: "Cyber Mountaineering, AI Companionship Tours, Integration of Virtual and Real Experiences, Low-Altitude Soaring, Portable Medical Assistance, and Hassle-Free Ascents." Led by Huangshan Tourism Group, the construction of a cultural tourism AI pilot testing base has been launched, establishing a "one institute, five centers" framework. This initiative aims to explore replicable pathways for the digital and intelligent transformation of scenic areas across the city and the entire country.
