Hefei Xinqiao Airport announced that from Feb 4 to Mar 14, China Eastern Anhui will operate a new direct Hefei–Kuala Lumpur route using an Airbus A320 — the first time Hefei has offered direct service to Kuala Lumpur.

Timed with the Spring Festival travel season, the route offers direct convenience for travelers from Anhui and neighboring areas for holiday trips and family visits, while boosting Hefei Airport's regional hub connectivity and strengthening Anhui's economic, trade, and tourism ties with Southeast Asia.

Kuala Lumpur highlights include the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, historic Merdeka Square, the Petaling Street, a bustling district rich in Chinese heritage, the Central Market for crafts, and the KL Tower offering panoramic city views.
