According to the Anhui Business Daily, on November 27, 2023, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education publicly announced its intention to approve the establishment of these three higher vocational schools. According to the website of the Wanzhi District People's Government in Wuhu City, Wuhu Aviation Vocational College is a privately owned for-profit institution located on Nanhu Road in the Wanzhi District of Wuhu City. It covers a total area of 721.5 mu and has an estimated enrollment capacity of about 10,000 students. The investment in this project is made by Beijing Zhonggong Future Group Co., Ltd.

The college's professional layout is mainly focused on aviation transportation and aviation equipment-related majors, supplemented by high-tech fields such as electronic information technology and finance and trade. The initial set of majors includes civil aviation transportation services, flight attendants, unmanned aerial vehicle application technology, intelligent manufacturing equipment technology, cross-border e-commerce, and software technology. It is expected to expand to 15 majors by 2027 in response to the needs of economic and social development.

Wuhu Medical and Health Vocational College is a private nonprofit institution located at No. 3 Binhu Avenue in the Wanzhi District of Wuhu City. The college is organized by Anhui Huaqiang Dabieshan Education Investment Co., Ltd. The college's educational model focuses on full-time general higher education while also incorporating vocational training.

Bengbu Urban Rail Transit Vocational College is located at 985 Longhua Road, Huaishang District, Bengbu City. The college occupies 650 mu of land and has a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. According to the official WeChat account of Bengbu Rail Transit, the college's initial set of majors includes urban rail transit mechatronics technology, urban rail transit communication and signaling technology, urban rail transit operation and management, computer application technology, e-commerce, big data and accounting.
