At the beginning of the new year, Hefei International Land Port has entered a busy working mode, ushering in a "good start." So far in 2024, the China-Europe freight trains from Hefei have operated 43 trips, with an average of 3 to 4 trains per day. The total number of operating trains and the number of return trains have both increased significantly compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, the total number of China-Europe freight trains from Hefei has doubled compared to the same period last year. Among them, 22 trains were sent outbound, and 21 trains returned, achieving a balance between outbound and inbound services, providing strong support for companies to carry out import and export services. Furthermore, the China-Europe freight trains from Hefei have expanded their network. In January, five new routes, including Isakogorka, and Kresty, were added, along with one new station. The responsible person of Hefei International Land Port expressed that in the new year, Hefei International Land Port will further integrate deeply into the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. It will continuously build new platforms, open up new space, fully invest in the construction of Hefei's large-scale logistics system, and strengthen the fundamental, strategic, and leading role of train operations. It will explore the operation of "dual-cycle" trains integrating domestic and foreign trade, further enhance the integration of resource elements, promote trade through transportation, and promote transportation through trade, and focus on serving the high-quality development of Anhui Province's opening-up. In the past year, the China-Europe freight trains from Hefei operated 868 trips, with a year-on-year growth of 13.02%. Among them, the number of trains in the return direction reached 339, showing a year-on-year growth of 32.91%. Since its operation in 2014, the China-Europe freight trains from Hefei have continuously enriched their routes, improved quality, and expanded capacity. They have operated over 3,600 trains, covering 126 cities and stations in 18 countries across the Eurasian continent.
