On August 30th, Pan Yajie (left) packaged freshly picked grapes in a grapeyard in Zipeng Town, Feixi County Aged 26, Pan Yajie has studied abroad for many years. After graduating with a master's degree in 2022, she returned to Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, driven by her love for her hometown, to become a rural entrepreneur. Having spent years studying abroad and now returning to farming, some of her friends and relatives do not understand Pan Yajie's choice. Pan Yajie explains that her hometown is the place she wants to dedicate her entire life to. By applying her expertise in management and economics, she aims to empower agricultural projects and revitalize traditional farming. During the golden autumn season, Pan Yajie's family had a bountiful harvest of over 60 mu of 'Shine Muscat' grapes. In addition to daily management, picking, and sales, Pan Yajie also leverages her skills to livestream and promote her grapes directly from the field. Pan Yajie acknowledges the challenges of agricultural work, and it requires patience to endure loneliness. However, witnessing the scenes of a successful harvest, she believes that all the efforts are worthwhile.
