Lu'an City in east China's Anhui
Province on Monday reported two new confirmed locally-transmitted
COVID-19 cases and one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case, according to the
municipal health commission. One of the two new confirmed cases is a previous asymptomatic carrier, said the commission. As
of 6 p.m. Monday, Lu'an had registered eight confirmed cases of local
transmissions, 12 asymptomatic cases, and one suspected case in the
recent resurgence of the virus. Lu'an launched its third round of nucleic acid testing for residents in the main districts and key areas on 2 p.m. Saturday. Health
authorities in Anhui said earlier that the province's recent local
transmission cases were related to a training session at a photo studio
in the city's Yu'an district.
