The Qiang sheep-skin drum dance is a tradition maintained by the ancient Qiang ethnic group, which has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. Initially rooted in religious rituals, the Qiang sheep-skin drum dance gradually turned into a captivating folk dance over time. The dance movements exude both power and humility, symbolizing the dancers' deep respect for the universe. It also serves as a vital medium for preserving and expressing Qiang ethnic culture, encapsulating the essence of their customs and way of life.

Recently, as part of the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Goes to School" initiative, Qiang sheep-skin drum dance inheritors have been warmly welcomed into schools, providing students with an up-close encounter with the mesmerizing allure of intangible cultural heritage.
